Tét nélküli mérkőzésen, de győzelemmel sikerült befejeznie és negyedik helyen végzett az Európa-kupán a Szentendre Sleepwalkers, ezzel a magyar csapatok közül az eddigi legjobb eredményt érte el ebben a sorozatban. Az utolsó játéknapon az ezer sebből vérző Kranjski Lisjaki hódolt be.

Masa új formációt vet be erre a meccsre. A multifunkcionális Simonyi Dénes bal külsősként kezd, Nikolits a center fielder, Illés Imre pedig az egyesen játszik. A catcher Pásztor Domokos, a többi a szokásos. Ütősorban Nikolits az ötös pozícióban kezd, Szabó Tamás a dobó. Laza első inning.

Nikolits György ért el a kettesig egy right fielder error után, Kondás Párk egy gyönyörűen kivitelezett base hit után pedig megszerezte első pontunkat.
Kettőt sétáltatott az egyébként újra jól játszogató Szabó, de messze volt a szitu a vészhelyzettől.

Nikolits elképesztően játszott egész héten és most is szeretne szépen szeretné befejezni. Ebben az inningben RBI duplájával 2-0.
Kaptunk Ales Mravijétől egy 2-run home runt és előtte egy elkerülhető pontot, hiszen az inning első ütője Matija Bericic Halmos Balázs errorja után került fel. Sokkal agresszívabban támadják a bázisokat a szlovénok.

Sokkal motiváltabban és jobban játszanak a szlovénok. Újabb error sorozatból már 5-2-re vezetnek. Illésnek nem annyira ízlik az egyes bázis.

Nem sokáig engedtük nekik, hogy ekkora legyen az előnyük, Illés azonnal javította hibáit és egy duplával egy, majd Kondás Márk újabb két baset érő ütésével még egy pontot szereztünk. Védekezésben Gyurcsek Péter váltotta Szabó Tamást.
Gyurcsek azonnal le is tette névjegyét, egy villámgyors inningel és két strikeouttal. Utóbbi kettőnél csak nézelődni tudtak a Kranjskisok.

Masa főszereplésével átvettük ismét a vezetést. Halmos elképesztő milyen egyszerűen eléri az egyest egy-egy reménytelennek tűnő helyzetben. PÁsztot kapott előtte egy löketet a dobótól, a japán játékos pedig a torna első triplájával körbevitte a két futót.
Elkezdtünk ráérezni a szlovén kényszerdobó ritmusára és sokáig bases loaded szituáció volt folyamatosan, amiből el is döntöttük a meccset.
