Masaharu vérszemet kapott a finnek ellen
Három a magyar igazság, a karlovaci torna harmadik fordulójában megszerezte első győzelmét a Szentendre Sleepwalkers. Egy három és fél órás esőszünet sem zavarta meg a magyar gladiátorokat, ugyanúgy, mint a többi csapat ők is 7 inning alatt bedarálták az Espoo Expost.

Kondás Márk egyel feljebb lépett a ranglétrán, immár hetes pozícióban szerepelt. A végén majdnem ő lett a jók közül is a legjobb, két ütést vitt be a finneknek és amilyen ember a pályán kívül, olyan volt ma is: okos. Masaharu önként követte el magával szemben ezt a húzást, ám a japán főnöknek bejött a terve. Klasszikus ütés nélkül csináltuk meg a negyediket. Masa egy errorból ért fel, Pásztor sétált, Nikolits gyorsaságát kihasználva egy bunt single-el, majd Halmos megint egy séta és voálá. Ilyen egyszerű ez a baseball. Sétálva meg lehet oldani a dolgokat. Le is cserélték ezt a finn dobó katasztrófát. Ville Saarman az új dombos, reméljük a nevéhez hasonló teljesítményt fogja hozni.
Hát egyelőre nem Saarman múlik a dolog, hanem a védelmen. Timo Liiri feltartotta a kesztyűs kezét és csak imádkozott, hogy beleessen a labda. Hát jó 3 méterrel mellette ért földet. Hihetetlenek néha északi barátaink. Kondás Márk megszakította ezt a csúnya inninget (nekünk jó, mert elhúztunk) egy gyönyörűen helyezett RBI single-el.
Nikolits György nem vacakolt sokat, pillanatok alatt kitisztította a teli bázist, a finn center fieldernek esélye se volt…na jó volt, de nem jött össze neki…
Két sétáltatás után Kovács Gergő váltja Szabó Tamást, aki nem kapott kiérdemelt pontot… még… Geri a szállodában felkészítette erre a szituációra. Ugratják egymást rendesen, most azzal állna bosszút fiatal társán, hogy szépen beengedi a futókat.
Egy bejött, de Liirivel szemben egy maratoni csatát nyert a magyar dobó.

Simonyi Dénes és Inoue Masaharu intelligens megoldása mentette meg a csapatot két ponttól, a hármason lévő futókat erőltették és dobták ki otthon. Szabó kicsit nehezen melegedett bele a folytatásba. De küzd rendesen, talán ki fog jönni a gödörből! Hú, ez az inning egy óriási mentés volt!
Mit csinál ez az őrült finn dobó? Új srác, Janne Varitainen le akarja szedni a mieink fejét, Simonyi még éppen megúszta, de Illésnek megkongatta a sisakját. Ezt követően egy kicsit összekapta magát, de őt sem fogja egyhamar leigazolni egy nagy csapat.
Folytatjuk…illetve az eredmény alapján gyakorlatilag most kezdődik minden.
Oké a következő a szitu. A Wanderers és a Lisjaki átruccan a kb. fél órára található Zágrábba és ott játssza le a fordulót, mi pedig maradunk itt és 14 órakor folytatódik a móka.
Az égi áldás befejeződött, de egyelőre még mindig a víz az úr a pályán. Most beszélik meg lehet-e egyáltalán folytatni a dolgot.

Egy kicsit elbóbiskoltam, de Kondás Márk kísérleténél mintha nem lett volna senki az egyesen. Ja! Megvan. Buntolásra készültek. A fűnyíró ismét egy ereklyével gazdagodott, mi meg egy ponttal. Aztán jött még egy. Ha egy kicsit jobban koncentrálunk sima 5 inning. Timo Liiri sem tud normálisan dobni.
Leszakadt az ég! Ijnye nagyon esik. Le is fújták a dolgot. Szünet következik.

Simonyi Dénes 2 outnál ütéssel törte meg a támadócsendet, Timo Liiri pickoff kísérlete a szomszédos telkesn lelkesen dolgozó fűnyíró csávónak lett jó, Dini könnyen megszerzte a hármast, Illés azonban nem tudta két beütött futóval kezdeni a karlovaci kalandját. Ez nem hangzott negatívan, ugye?
Jussi Saaristonak adtunk egy statisztikajavító pontot. A kettesen sasszemmel figyelte, hogy ejtsék már ki csapattársát és amint ennek a mozdulata megtörtént indult is a hármasra. Pásztor Domi megpróbálta elkapni, de labdája túl magas lett… közben egy hatalmasat dörgött az ég, még ott fent sem nézik jól szemmel az ilyen rontásokat.

Illés Imre múltkor a szememre hányta, hogy nem figyelem eléggé benne a pozitívumokat, na most kettőzött erővel lesem minden mozdulatát. Fantasztikusan szedte le a lopni készülő (base hittel bázisra kerülő) Muukkonent.

Itt az első pont! Illés Imre RBI-al mutatkozott be, Halmos Balázs a korai időpont nem lassította le, máris egy fontos lopással borzolja a finn catcher idegeit. Ebből a tegnapi osztrákok elleni meccsük alapján bőven lesz még.
A dombon álló Szabó Tamás egy aránylag sima inningel nyitott. Történt néhány változás a kezdőben, Pásztor Domi Németh Balázs helyett az egyesen (Gazsi a DH). Simonyi Dénes a hármason, Erdélyi Dániel ma pihenőnapot kapott. Az ütősor elején nincs semmi meglepetés, a végén azonban igen. Masaharu a nyolcas pozícióba tette magát, hátha itt több szerencséje lesz, eddig ugyanis a támadás nem nagyon megy neki a tornán.
